Microsoft is set to release the Windows 11 operating system on October 5th, but the update will not include support for Android apps.

The company confirmed this news in a blog post. The ability to run Android apps natively on a PC is one of the biggest features of Windows 11 and it looks like users will have to wait a little longer for that. Microsoft has officially confirmed that it will only begin previewing this feature in the "coming months". The company hasn't mentioned which month it plans to offer this feature. It has been reported that Android app support will not be available on Windows 11 until 2022, as Microsoft first tests a feature with Windows Insider and then releases it after a few weeks or months.

In case you didn't know, Microsoft is bringing Android apps to Windows 11 for the first time.
